I'm Faizan — a Computer Science & Engineering student and developer from Lucknow, India, working at the intersection of backend engineering and data analytics. My day-to-day ranges from building REST APIs with FastAPI and modelling databases with SQLAlchemy/PostgreSQL, to cleaning datasets in Pandas and telling their story through Power BI dashboards and machine-learning models.
I like projects that force me to go end-to-end — designing the schema, writing the API, training the model, and presenting the insight — because that's where engineering and analysis actually meet. Outside of coursework I've completed hands-on job simulations with Deloitte, Tata and British Airways via Forage, and certifications spanning IBM Machine Learning, Databricks SQL Analytics and Microsoft Excel/Power BI.

A full school-management backend: students, staff, attendance, and audit-logged records, built API-first with database migrations and automated tests.
An NLP classifier that flags spam text messages, wrapped in a lightweight app for live predictions using a trained vectorizer + model pipeline.
A machine-learning model that predicts which customers are likely to churn, built from exploratory analysis through to a trained, evaluated classifier.
Exploratory analysis of a movie/TV dataset — cleaning, transforming and visualising trends across genres, ratings and release patterns.
